Hello friends,

@Martha and Eve – formerly known as Donna and Kebab, here. We are working hard putting together our next show at Theatro Technis at 26 Crowndale: For The Love Of Cyprus 2026 in just a couple of weeks!!
July 9th and 10th at 7.30pm
July 11th at 5pm 🎭 🎶 ❤️

Expect lots of music, some old hits and many new songs too!! 🎶 ✍️ 💿 🎭
Plus sharing a story or two about growing up as British Born Cypriots in London from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s!
This is where you come in!! We want you to send us those photos that you have in ‘Stravara Square’ -Trafalgar Square – feeding the pigeons. Come on, we were all doing it weren’t we? 😜
Also!! We would love any of your photos outside any of the churches in London from around that time too !! Felt like we were at a wedding or a christening every weekend!
Some of the pictures might even appear in the show. 😏

We’ll be shining a spotlight on the most famous Cypriot composers from George Michael to Manos Loizos . Proudly presenting the music of our parent culture – the nostalgic repertoire so familiar to British Cypriots – with stories of Cypriot migration to the UK and our bi-cultural identity. Expect humour passion and heart-lifting spirited performances as we proudly lead a spirited group of top-class musicians from the world music stage with “voices that rock the Parthenon” ( a review said that , and we thought it was corny, at the time, but we love it now.!) Hope to see you there .

Heres the link for tickets , they’re selling fast !

Hope to see you there!

.. We’re both excited to be coming together again to present these evenings full of spirited stories, in word, in song, in music, in fun.. and also sharing the stage with a special guest or two .. For The Love of Cyprus 🇨🇾 – For the Love of our World 🌍
Lots more information at Theatro Technis – London

Hope to see you there and start digging out those photo albums, please x thank you 🙏🏼 Martha and Eve xxx ❤️

On Sunday March 1, Eve Polycarpou is having her album launch at Theatro Technis.

We asked Eve why she produced this album after all these years: “After emergency surgery and radiotherapy, following a life-threatening condition. I realised that if I don’t do it now, I might not be able to do it at all. Although I’ve made albums with Martha with some of our original material, I’ve been writing songs since I started playing the guitar in my teens, as I found it a great way to say things I had trouble expressing .. Many of the songs have come from my own personal journey from relationships with others and with myself, but more than anything they’ve come from discovery .. I don’t really know why it took so long to do a solo album .. have found it difficult to decide what the album would be .. as I have always loved singing so many other writers work .. guess I didn’t feel like mine was good enough but the audiences who’ve watched me telling my stories and singing my own songs have been on at me to record them… so as I said it was now or never”

‘Not In A Million Years’ is an album that has come out of decades of Eve’s diverse worldwide career in theatre, television, film, music, songwriting and recording. Her songs are inspired by her own life challenges, observations and celebrations. In her unique style, Eve combines her folk-rock, bluesy, Mediterranean vocals and acoustic guitar with the musicianship and creativity of friends and fellow musicians in an album full of life stories.

She is joined by special guests, including Martha D Lewis, Stephen D Fletcher and Davide Manthovani. Also joining Eve are: Emmet O’Connor, Alwyne Taylor, Diane McLoughlin, Kate Shortt and Dan Lipman.
